ISEAL Alliance public consultation begins on new Code of Good Practice

The International Social and Environmental Accreditation and Labelling (ISEAL) Alliance is developing a new Code of Good Practice that aims to make assurance a more effective tool to support the social and environmental impact of voluntary standards. Once finalized, the SAN will be required to comply with this Code of Good Practice as a member of ISEAL, and we encourage SAN stakeholders to take part in this consultation process. The first consultation on the draft Code of Good Practice for Assessing Compliance with Social and Environmental Standards opened on November 1, 2011 and runs through December 31, 2011.
